Overview

  • Prof. Kinsey is the chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Prof. Kinsey joined the faculty of the Mechanical Engineering Department in the 2001-02 academic year. After working three years in the automotic industry, he began his work at Northwestern University where he received his Master's and Ph.D. degrees. For his doctoral work, he successfully devised, analyzed, and implemented a modification to the sheet metal forming process to alleviate tearing failures.
