Tevfik Aktekin is a Professor in the Department of Decision Sciences at the Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. He earned his Ph.D. in Decision Sciences (with a minor in Operations Research/Statistics) from the George Washington University. His main research interests include Bayesian state space models of count data and Bayesian inference in stochastic systems (with focus on queuing systems). His research has appeared in journals such as the Annals of Applied Statistics, Bayesian Analysis, Statistics in Medicine, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (Series A), European Journal of Operational Research, and Naval Research Logistics.
