Overview

  • My main focuses of research are: 1) ribotyping Escherichia coli to identify sources of fecal contamination in surface waters; 2) microbial cycling of mercury in estuarine and marine environments; 3) monitoring for toxic chemicals in the marine environment; 4) stormwater-related pollution of estuarine waters. I have many different projects that make up my research program, the majority of which are related to these 4 topic areas.
