Dr. Won Hyuk Suh is an Assistant Professor of Biotechnology (Department of Life Sciences) at the University of New Hampshire, Manchester. His areas of expertise in research and scholarship are synthetic biomaterials and cellular engineering. Dr. Suh's teaching duties at UNH Manchester include Cell Culture Lecture/Lab (BIOT 753/754/853), Advanced Therapies (BSCI 797/BIOT 897), and Seminar in Biotechnology (BIOT 799/896). The specific areas of research include cell penetrating peptide (CPP) structures, polymeric hydrogels, and nanostructured particles that are specifically developed for human stem cell engineering and cancer treatment-related work. Dr. Suh's research areas have focused on synthetic chemical structures and stem cell engineering and they have translational and transformative potentials. Three major research accomplishments are the development of (1) a new cell penetrating peptide system, (2) 3D polymeric hydrogels for human neural stem cell engineering, and (3) particle systems in the nano-to-micrometer length scales. During the past decade, Dr. Suh has published 15+ articles.
