Overview

  • Michele M. Kroll, Ph.D. is an Older Adult Behavioral Health and Well-Being Field Specialist with the University of New Hampshire Extension. She works in partnership with communities to provide educational programs and resources based on research-based best practices. Current direct educational programs include the Eight Dimensions of Wellness Interactive Online Assessment, Boost Your Brain and Memory, Mental Health First Aid and Rural Telehealth Accessibility and Applications using biofeedback and VR simulations. She is a UNH Center for Digital Health Innovation Fellow.

    Michele uses a cross-disciplinary approach and SDoH to understand and address the challenges that rural communities face with accessing health care and healthy living resources. She is excited to delve into AARP aging friendly communities as a way to address policies and system changes that occur as we age well together. She has 30 years’ experience previously with University of Missouri Extension working at regional, state and national levels and is a member of the leadership team as the Health and Wellness Sub-Committee chair for the Greater Sullivan Public Health Advisory Committee.
