Andrew Macpherson is an assistant professor of security studies. Dr. Macpherson completed his Ph.D. in Political Science at Northeastern University. He teaches courses in international conflict and security, intelligence, terrorism, and technology policy. His research interests include international security, political violence, national security intelligence, resilience policy, technology policy, and terrorism. His current research projects focus on the effects of electronic surveillance on terrorism.
Dr. Macpherson holds a M.A. in the History of international Relations from the London School of Economics and a B. A. in Research / Intelligence Analysis from Mercyhurst University. Courses taught include terrorism, intelligence and critical infrastructure security and resilience.
