Sanjeev Sharma is the Academic Affairs Coordinator at the Carsey School of Public Policy. His role involves admissions and advising students in Carsey's academic programs. He is also involved with the series of project courses for the Master’s in Community Development program and works one-on-one with students to refine and provide input on their project design, implementation and monitoring, and evaluation plans. He also provides overall guidance and tutorial to students on economics, financial management, and statistics.
Sanjeev earned his PhD in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University. He also holds an MBA and master’s in International CED. He has been involved in academic research on economic and cooperative development. Prior to that, Sanjeev implemented and coordinated rural development programs in Nepal, and conducted impact assessment, Knowledge Attitude and Practice studies, assessments and evaluations of organizations, and various studies on health, hygiene, lending and savings, education, and rural water supply and sanitation.
