This chapter examines how entrepreneurial learning operates as a driver toward entrepreneurial ecosystem evolution. By applying insights from the 4I organizational learning framework and utilizing the 4I or the intuiting, interpreting, integrating, and institutionalizing processes, we explain the nature of this evolution. The original 4I framework was developed to explain how learning happens at the individual, group, and organizational levels, especially based on feedforward and feedback linkages. In this chapter, we extend the application of the framework to the ecosystem level, by incorporating additional learning outcomes such as learning by ecosystem actors, stakeholders, and partners.
