Abstract

  • In this chapter, the authors describe their work in developing and facilitating a student-run literary journal for second language writers. They offer their reflections on the benefits of celebrating and publishing second-language writing. In addition, the authors explore the implications of giving marginalized students a stronger voice, and discuss the theoretical support of this pursuit.Language learners are often discriminated against and seen as lesser than because of their language difficulties.
