Kari Dudley is a social worker and a social psychologist. She has a background in clinical case management and psychotherapy, working with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses as well as those with mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. Her experience teaching through the Child Impact Program (a 4-hour, court-mandated seminar for divorcing parents in the state of New Hampshire) inspired a return to graduate school at UNH, where she earned her M.S.T. in college teaching and her Ph.D. in social psychology. While a graduate student, she was nominated for and received the University's Graduate Student Teaching Award. Her doctoral research concentrated on college students' first (and forming) impressions of their instructor's teaching effectiveness and personality.
