Sarah Hamilton Rigg is an alumna of the University of New Hampshire Equine Program. Sarah has taught at UNH since 2000, and been Director of the Equine Program since 2006. She coached the UNH Dressage Team to a National Championship in 2009. She is a Dressage Technical Delegate for the United States Dressage Federation. She also is PATH, International certified therapeutic riding instructor.
She has ridden for over thirty-six years and has more than twenty-five years' experience teaching riding. Sarah has a background riding, training and competing in eventing, hunters and jumpers. She specializes in classical dressage and has ridden and trained in Europe. Her areas of interest include horsemanship, the systematic development of horse and rider, pedagogical development of the riding instructor, and the horse in history, art and culture.
