Liz is an alumna of the University of New Hampshire, with a B.S. in Animal Sciences and a M.S.P.M. in Project Management. Liz began riding Arabians, and has been riding most of her life, focusing on eventing and dressage. Liz believes the horse’s education must be built from the ground up. These principles are applied in ANSC 507, Survey of Equine Training Techniques and in ANSC 538, Lunging. Liz’s teaching principles focus on safety of horse and rider while utilizing form to function with the rider’s position. Liz is a USDF Bronze Medalist. She is the USEA and USDF Secretary for the Equine Program, and works to expand the lecture and clinic schedule at UNH.
Liz enjoys mentoring students in various supervised teaching opportunities during the semester and through a robust equine events internship program during the summer.
