Overview

  • Catherine Peebles is director of the Hamel Honors and Scholars College, and affiliate faculty in the department of Classics, Humanities and Italian Studies at the University of New Hampshire. Peebles was appointed director of Honors in July, 2018. Before coming to Honors, she taught in the department of Classics, Humanities, and Italian Studies, and served as the coordinator of the Humanities Program and director of the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Program. She invites all Honors students and anyone else interested in the Honors College to come and see her in Huddleston Hall. She works to encourage all UNH students to follow the advice of Immanuel Kant: Dare to know!
